This is a great multi-functional boot. I live in Seattle, where it is muddy generally colder. When you go to the mountains, I also need a pair of boots that will work in the cold and heavy snow. These are the perfect pair for both. My feet stay perfectly warm in very cold conditions and do not even bathe in mud and heavy water. Warm, comfortable and elegant. Difficult to find a pair of boots that look good and do the job. I also like the fact that you can easily bring them inside or outside your pantleg. I found this on Amazon at the incredible price of $ 65 with free shipping. It could not be happier with my purchase.
These are great winter boots. I can slide them in and out very easily and are just the right height. Not short and not tall. Great for walking through several inches of fresh snow. The coating is not removable so it is not as thick as other Sorel, but I just wear thick socks. They are also comfortable walks along.
