These boots are so fabulous. I stayed in the snow for three hours or so to build a fort for my children. I did not once feel the need to come from the cold. In my old boots my toes were locked before I had shoveled the drive. I wish I had invested in a couple of these years ago. Well worth the cost. Well done though my son has brought out at the end of one of the laces already - I think it must have been walking on it, while it was dissolved. Inside lining is warm and dry my whole calf and ties at the ankle to keep them securely in place in deep snow.
I have a snow-loving dog who insists on taking long walks through knee deep weather in autumn and winter. E 'was difficult for me to find a pair of boots for women are durable, comfortable, truly waterproof, and quite deep in the well to do it through snowdrifts serious. I had a couple of competitors of this company's boots, and seemed to fit the bill, but immediately it became clear that the sole was too heavy and the tread is too low, and boots were leaking after two seasons of use! This is not a good start to snow! So I was very selective in buying the Sorels. I used it briefly so far (the winter has come early - again - for the Upper Midwest), but I can already say that they are both more durable and more comfortable than the last pair. Sorel boots are warm toasted, light but still Heft, the lining is thick removable and washable, and have two anchors to keep them up, ankle straps and a tab at the top-knot. All brands of quality. I expect I'll get a lot of miles out of these boots. So far, I am very pleased with this purchase.
