I got those shoes at Marshalls for $ 50. I own a pair of Uggs, and after being 1 day in a wet snow it looked bad, I decided on a cheaper version for a wet day. Uggs I've seen a few, like boots, they were like & 20 - $ 30 and did not seem bad, but when I put 1 and 1 Emu boot from other manufacturers which was a huge difference. The other shoes were stiff, and Emu is so warm and soft. So I took the boots Emu.
At home I compared to Uggs and I must say that I still love my Uggs best way that seems lighter, easier to walk and I like their look better (smaller and less cumbersome for Emu, but I don, t like Emu's sensitization only). Moreover Emu are hotter and very soft, as would a double wool inside. I discovered with Emu you need to buy your size and Uggs are 1 size smaller (I wear size 8 and Emu Ugg size 7).
I just recently read that the shoes are not really intended for serious and / or snow melt, unless you do not care how they look. So I think I'm going to wear them only a dry climate.
Overall great quality and very hot days and cold nights.
I love my EMU boots Stringer low. They keep your feet warm and toasted. They are waterproof, I had already bought another brand of boot for the winter and was very disappointed when I went into the snow and my feet were soaked within minutes. They are extremely comfortable and run wide. I usually buy a large but these perfect right out of the box. Slso I received them very quickly! I was worried because it shipped from one of Amazon's partners, and not directly from Amazon, but do not worry. They were very fast! Even if I had to pay shipping is not finished being cheaper then the store where I could not find the dimensions anyway. I got the gray and the color is beautiful! Great with jeans or trousers looks. Great purchase!
