I have a terrible time finding boots because I am petite with small feet and big calves. I feel as if I had tried on a gazillon boots, trying to find a pair to wear with suits and socks this winter. When I find boots that will fit on the legs, which are miles too long. But these are great! They slipped easily (to my amazement and great joy) and went up to about two inches below the knees. The foot is large enough for heavy socks, but not too large with socks / tights. I thought that the buckles would make my legs look bigger, but they are actually a nice touch. Although these shoes are not tight enough leg slimming. And even though I know that are not leather, you can not beat the price. If you have large calves, buy this now! If you have average calves, they will work on jeans. For reference, the size 6 has about a 15 "circumference, of course, that goes as the size goes up.
I like the look of this boot, it looks like the image. I would not say that this boot runs big, but you leave a room a little more than boots and others of the same size. definitely want to wear socks with them. If you are one size at all, I would go with the smaller size. the tree leaves much room for skinny jeans or leggings, skinny even though your legs are not super. buckles actually work, are not just decorative, so you can tighten the legs a bit 'if they are too vague. I'm 5'7 and this boot is about 2.5 centimeters below the knee. very comfortable to walk in!
These boots are really cute - I just got them like an hour ago, and I'm in love already. The only thing is that they feel a bit 'close to the toes, and certainly close at the top of my bow, and I have super high arches, only periodically high. I'm going to keep wearing them for a while 'to see if it is too cumbersome to maintain. If I have to send back, I'll be pretty discouraged.
