I got these boots after searching for a pair I liked for a looooong time, and were worth the price! I used to walk everywhere, and the multi-mile walk to work / school has never been uncomfortable in those shoes. They are fun, comfortable, durable, and unique enough that they stand out in a crowd. I've seen them worn with skirts and always look cute and are great with jeans. I did have them resoled, after just over a year because the heel was completely worn through, and I was a bit 'surprised because soles are supposed to be really good but I walked a lot in them, so I guess it was worth the penalty. The skin is the kind of quality that only improves with age, so wait to wear these for years to come.
Wow Not begin to explain how these boots are really! I followed the advice of many of the other reviewers and went with half smaller (I'm usually an 8 and I went with a 7 1 / 2), proved perfect. I also have very muscular calves and have never found a boot with a large enough space these are them! Right out of the box the quality was evident, the skin is soft as butter and the stitching was magnificent. I needed these shoes for school as a welder and play! They held up to the abuse that I showed them and with a little 'saddle soap to clean them can take them out on the town the same day. I would recommend these boots to anyone, for work, school or play! I will enjoy for many years to come!
