This particular casual shoe was purchased by recommendation of an exceptionally great orthopedic surgical wing at a local hospital, as a post foot-surgery first pair of shoes. These crosstrainers are comfortable from step one and provide the lateral support required by the specialists. And they are reasonably priced. A great shoe from New Balance.

I checked out reviews of this shoe before I ordered it and was surprised at the negative comments about the shoe box space. That is the one feature of these shoes that works for me when so many other brands fail. I wear size 7 4E and so far, these are the only sport shoes that keep me away from foot problems.

I tried to find this shoe at my local sports stores, 4 to be exact, but they didn't have D widths only 2E. I looked on Amazon and there they were. They fit great and actually arrived a 2 days earlier than expected.
